SBC has extended the nominations deadline to MONDAY 6 DECEMBER 2021.

Christmas 2021 Clothing Collection for Refugees

Edinburgh Direct Aid (edinburghdirectaid.org) provides aid to refugees – this year’s focus is Syrian refugees in Arsal refugee camp, Lebanon.
There is a special appeal going out for donations of warm clothing, particularly outdoor wear and stout boots and shoes for adults and children (not bedding).
DROP OFF AT LONGFORMACUS VILLAGE HALL ON SATURDAY 20th November 10.am – 1pm.
Or Community Café, Saturday 13th Nov, 11am-1pm.

Willie Scott – Ellemford Show

On behalf of Ellemford Show I would like to take this opportunity to pass on our deepest condolences to all that knew and loved Willie Scott. We were shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He was a big part of the show for many years, especially manning the gate as people came in and being a big supporter of the terrier racing – kindly donating the ‘Taff Memorial Cup’. His memory will be sure to live on through the show.
Funeral to be held on Friday the 19th at 10oclock Cranshaws Kirk and then onto the village hall
