Visiting

The Lammermuirs is an often over-looked area well worth a visit

The Lammermuirs is a stunning area of high moorland, forestry, windfarms and agriculture, drained by the Whiteadder Water and its tributaries, Bothwell Water and Dye Water. The highest point in the area is Meikle Says Law, at 535m, although strictly this is a few metres over the border into East Lothian. Despite being within easy reach of Edinburgh and the A1 along the Berwickshire coast, the Lammermuirs is often over-looked and hidden from the major road network.
