The Longformacus Community Park is a place where people of all ages can meet outdoors to play, socialise, and exercise. A group of local Lammermuir mums are working toward developing the existing green space to provide improved play and exercise equipment as well as picnic facilities and an outdoor classroom for the enjoyment of the entire community.

Members of the Community Park group can be found at the Toddler Playgroup meeting on Thursdays at the Village Hall. They welcome anyone with an interest in the park project to get in touch with questions and ideas. Their hope is to generate interest in this inclusive, accessible, and friendly project with the aim of bringing together community members of all ages for healthy outdoor activities year ’round.
